Dear Mr. Doran,
Thank you so much for your letter. I feel perfectly sure, that you will do everything in your power to obtain the best terms for me. I should really like to come to Manchester.
By the same post I am sending you two new plays, “The blind Goddess” and “Draw the Fires”. The former has passed the Lord Chamberlain’s office, only a few words and sentences have to be omitted.
Which play is more suited to the Repertory Theater in your opinion?
