Dear Comrade,
many thanks for your kind letter of October 16th. The other letter you mentioned I have never received and I beg you to send me a copy. I don’t know which title and which conditions you did suggest. I would very much like to come to Oxford.
I cannot yet accept November the 23rd but I shall let you know a few days later. I would prefer an earlier date, if possible, in October, except 26th and 27th.
