July 12th, 1934.

Dear Mr. Rubinstein,

I am very obliged to you for the pains you have taken. The Toynbee Hall Players only wrote about the performances of “Masses and Man” in the Friends House but not about the 7 performances which took place in Toynbee Hall, as far as I know in April 1934.

The performance on July 17th takes place indeed according to my wish. Nevertheless royalty may be paid because the author also wants to live.

How that should be settled you will probably know better than I.

Yours sincerely,
