Dear Mr. Pinker,
Mr. Crankshaw will have finished the English adaptation of the “Blind Goddess” not later than to-morrow. He immediately will send you a copy.
I should be much obliged to you if you could save the time to read it as soon as possible and give me a ring (Whitehall 4583), so that we may arrange to speak about all possibilities of production both in England and in America.
I loosened the connection to Hughes Massie who did not succeed at all and tried to settle the book of my own accord. With good success, indeed, Gollancz will publish it in January with good conditions.
About a serious publication, especially in U. S. A. I want to speak to you.
I am looking forward to your news.
Sincerely
Yours,
Ernst Toller.
